About me
Infrastructure and cloud platform specialist with 15+ years from physical data centers through cloud-native delivery. I started as a high energy physicist, launching a cosmic ray detector into space; naturally, I then crewed film sets and repaired computers before falling into enterprise networking. A decade building data centers for a global SaaS followed, before I made the jump to cloud. Weta Digital took me to the other side of the world to lead an AWS cloud-rendering transition; back stateside I helped Laika start its GitOps journey before a New Zealand colleague pulled me to Magic Leap to build self-service Infrastructure-as-Code on Kubernetes (GKE). Now I support Google's Cloud Infrastructure for Android XR, on assignment through Magic Leap. We'll see where we go from here.
